Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler & John Bradshaw Layfield were a commentator team for WWE Pay-per-views, and formerly for WWE Monday Night RAW from April 1, 2013, until December 29, 2014.

Starting at Night of Champions, Layfield returned to his persona, and sporadically filled in as a color commentator, replacing Jerry Lawler, who suffered a legitimate heart attack during the Raw episode preceding Night of Champions.

Jerry Lawler was a commentator for Monday Night Raw alongside Michael Cole and JBL until January 8, 2015, when it was announced on that Lawler will be a part of the SmackDown broadcast team as a color commentator along with Michael Cole and Byron Saxton starting January 15, ending his 19-year run as a color commentator of Raw as he was replaced by Booker T

However, since Lawler was removed from the Raw announce team, Lawler was kept on WWE pay-per-views with Michael Cole & JBL.

On the March 30 episode of Raw, Lawler made a one night return to commentary for Raw with Saxton to fill in for Michael Cole, JBL & Booker T after they were assaulted by Brock Lesnar after Lesnar was refused his rematch against Seth Rollins.
