Mary Ellen Cook (June 15, 1980) is an erotic film actress, model and professional wrestler known for her association with Carmen Electra's Naked Women's Wrestling League.

Early Life

Carey grew up mostly raised by her grandparents as her parents were admittedly unfit to properly care for her. After her parents divorced, Carey's mother moved in with her and her grandparents. Carey continued her life in Florida where she was an accomplished student and dancer during her developing years. She was offered numerous dance scholarships. Things turned for the worst when her grandfather developed and died from lung cancer when she was 16. Her grandmother developed Parkinson's disease and it was clear that the family finance's needed considerable help.

Career

This led to Carey taking up a modeling job on an adult website. Soon after, Carey became a stripper. Upon moving out to Los Angeles, Carey's erotic career was expanded by her entrance into erotic filming and eventual appearance on Playboy TV.

Naked Women's Wrestling League (2005)

Carey became involved with the erotic wrestling promotion Naked Women's Wrestling League between 2005 and 2006. She appeared on the sequel pay-per-view entitled Naked Revolution, hosted by Carmen Electra and featuring wrestling Hall of Famer "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart.

Political Venture

Just prior to the recall campaign against California Governor Gray Davis, Mary signed a contract with Kick Ass Pictures, and as a publicity gag they came up with the idea that Mary should enter the field of a dozen or so candidates trying to replace Davis, so she soon publicly declared her intention to run for governor. The stunt worked out far better than they had hoped for, as Mary's bubbly personality and sense of humor about herself, her profession and the campaign itself - not to mention her beauty - endeared her to the California public. Although some political pundits wrote her off as a joke, her "campaign" received extensive coverage in the statewide media and she drew enthusiastic crowds at her appearances. Although she didn't win the election, she did manage to garner more than 11,000 votes. After the election Mary continued to turn out videos, which continue to sell well, and she is, besides Jenna Jameson, one of the porn stars most recognized by the general public.

Personal Life

Carey's parents were mentally handicapped (her mother had been diagnosed as a schizophrenic). Her dancing skills during her early young adult years won her a place on the dance team at Florida State University where she was enrolled. Carey has married twice, first to a man named Eric, divorcing in 2004. She is married now to Mario Monge as of July 12, 2009.
