Mark Rattelle (March 1, 1983) is an American manager and professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the name "Smart" Mark Sterling.
Career[]
Early career[]
Mark Rattelle began his wrestling career on the independent circuit, wrestling under the name Mark Malibu. Malibu would eventually begin wrestling as Mark Sterling, winning multiple championships and wrestling for promotions such as WrestlePro, Create A Pro Wrestling Academy, Blitzkrieg Pro, and Combat Zone Wrestling. Sterling would make an appearance for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on the December 2, 2019 episode of Raw, teaming with Mitchell Lyons in a loss to The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar).
All Elite Wrestling (2020-present)[]
Sterling appeared on the August 22, 2020 episode of Dynamite as the lawyer of MJF, petitioning for Jon Moxley's Paradigm Shift to be banned. On the September 2, 2020 episode of Dynamite, Sterling was defeated by Moxley in a match where the Paradigm Shift was legal following a contract signing between MJF and Moxley the week before.
After already offering Jade Cargill his managerial services, Sterling would begin managing Cargill on the May 28, 2021 episode of Dynamite, much to the disappointment of Matt Hardy.
