Malik Hashim Waseem is a British professional wrestler currently working on the independent scene under the ring name Malik, wrestling in various promotions including PROGRESS Wrestling.
Career[]
Before becoming a wrestler, Malik Hashim Waseem trained as a lawyer in London, however, Waseem chose to become a professional wrestler to make both Britain and Pakistan proud.
Following his debut in 2015 in a Four Way Match at a Kamikaze Pro event, Malik would go on to wrestle in various independent promotions in Europe and Japan, winning championships in Reloaded Championship Wrestling Alliance, World Association Of Wrestling and X Wrestling Alliance. Malik made his first appearance for PROGRESS Wrestling in a dark match at Chapter 87, teaming with Jay Joshua and Kam Lucia in a victory over Callum Newman, Nedeem and Scotty Davis. Malik competed in the Natural Progression Series VI but failed to make it past the first round after he was defeated by Danny Duggan. At Chapter 127, Malik was unable to win a Six Way Match for an opportunity at the PROGRESS World Championship, however, Malik would face PROGRESS World Champion Jonathan Gresham at Roy Johnson's Everything Patterned: London, but failed to win the title.
