The London Gardens is an arena in London, Ontario, Canada. It was originally built in 1963 and was home to the London Knights ice hockey team of the Ontario Hockey League from 1965 to 2002. After the Knights left for the John Labatt Centre the arena was converted into Forest City Velodrome. At the time it became one of five velodromes in North America and the shortest Velodrome in the entire world.

On top of Hockey it saw a couple of infamous events in music history. The first came in April of 1965 where at a Rolling Stones concert a massive riot broke out causing the concert to last a mere 15 minutes. The other came 3 years later in 1968 was when Johnny Cash proposed to his longtime partner June Carter in the middle of their performance.
