The Liverpool Olympia (also known as Eventim Olympia) is a venue in Liverpool, Merseyside that was first used as an indoor circus.
The Olympia was originally owned by Moss Empires but was then sold to Mecca Leisure Group in 1948, they converted it to a ballroom and renamed it "The Locarno". The arena was then converted into a bingo hall between 1964 and 1982 before being closed down in 1987.
In the mid 90s The Locarno had reopened and was renamed the Liverpool Olympia. After substantial renovations and gaining a sponsor in ticketing company Eventim resulting in the renaming to Eventim Olympia, it is currently used as a venue for all kinds of events including pro-wrestling events such as ROH, TNA, NGW, WCPW and others.
