The 2024 King of the Ring was a professional wrestling tournament which began on WWE's television program Monday Night RAW on May 6, 2024, and aired on both RAW and SmackDown. It is the first King of the Ring tournament since 2021.

The tournament featured 16 wrestlers (eight each from the RAW and SmackDown brands).

Background

On April 7, 2024 at WrestleMania XL, it was announced that the King and Queen of the Ring tournament would be returning for the first time since 2021. It was also announced that the winners of the tournaments would get World title opportunities at SummerSlam.
