James made her debut for NXT on the February 1, 2022 episode of NXT under the ring name Kayla Inlay facing Sarray in a losing effort. On the March 25, 2022 episode of NXT Level Up she faced Ivy Nile under the ring name Kiana James in a losing effort. At Vengeance Day 2023 she teamed with Fallon Henley and defeated the team of Katana Chance & Kayden Carter to win the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship. At Stand & Deliver 2023 they lost the championships to the team of Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn. Her final match for NXT was on the April 9, 2024 episode of NXT where she teamed with Izzi Dame and defeated the team of Kelani Jordan & Fallon Henley.
RAW[]
On the April 26, 2024 episode of Friday Night Smackdown as part of the 2024 WWE draft James was drafted to the RAW brand. She made her in ring debut for the brand on the June 3, 2024 episode of Monday Night RAW facing Natalya in a winning effort.
