Karl Fredericks (July 15, 1990) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on the NXT brand under the ring name Eddy Thorpe. He was previously signed to New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW).

Career[]
Early career[]
Fredericks debuted on May 17, 2015 in Supreme Pro Wrestling and over the course of four years from 2015 to 2018, wrestled in California and American westcoast promotions including Pro Championship Wrestling (PCW) and All Pro Wrestling (APW). He became a one-time APW Worldwide Internet Champion, one-time APW Tag Team Champion and a one-time PCW Inter-California Champion.
Ring Of Honor (2019)[]
Fredericks debuted in Ring Of Honor (ROH) on January 24, 2019 during the opening night of the ROH Road To G1 Supercard pay-per-view teaming with Alex Coughlin in the 2019 Tag Wars Tournament, where they were eliminated by Lifeblood members David Finlay & Juice Robinson. He wrestled in two more tag matches during the following nights of the SuperCard pay-per-view. He made his regular ROH television debut on the April 5 episode teaming with Alex Coughlin & Clark Connors in a six-man tag match won by Dalton Castle & The Boys.
New Japan Pro Wrestling (2019–2022)[]
Because of Ring of Honor's business relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Fredericks debuted as early as May 8 during the opening night of the ROH vs. NJPW War Of The Worlds event. There he teamed with Clark Connors in a tag match won by members of ROH's The Kingdom TK O'Ryan & Vinny Marseglia. He wrestled his first singles match in both companies on May 12 during the fourth night of War Of The Worlds losing to ROH's Flip Gordon.
Fredericks made his official NJPW-only debut on January 6, 2020 at NJPW New Year Dash, teaming with Alex Coughlin & Clark Connors in defeating Toa Henare, Yota Tsuji & Yuya Uemura. He joined NJPW's American tour promoted as NJPW The New Beginning In USA, concluding on February 1 with a tag match with Ren Narita against Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata. Fredericks returned to the ring four months later after the 2020 Coronavirus outbreak was officially acknowledged in the United States. On June 13, Fredericks wrestled during the fourth night of the NJPW Lion's Break Collision event in a match won by Jeff Cobb. As wrestling companies adjusted to the restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus outbreak, New Japan Pro introduced a new television series NJPW STRONG, on which Fredericks appeared on the premiere episode on August 7. On the premiere episode, Fredericks competed in the 2020 New Japan USA Cup Tournament where he was eliminated in the first round by KENTA. On October 9 on the 10th episode of NJPW STRONG, Fredericks competed in a 12-Man Elimination Battle Royal as part of Team NJPW (ACH, David Finlay, Jeff Cobb, Rocky Romero & TJP) in defeating BULLET CLUB. On December 4 during the 18th Episode of NJPW STRONG, Fredericks and Team NJPW (ACH, Brody King, David Finlay & Juice Robinson) won a 10-man elimination tag match against the BULLET CLUB.
