Jumbo Baretta was a regular on the Florida independent scene, appearing for Florida Championship Wrestling, Global Wrestling Alliance, Suncoast Pro Wrestling, International Championship Wrestling Alliance and others.
Jumbo also made occasional appearances from Jim Crockett Promotions, World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Entertainment and toured Japan for Universal Wrestling Federation (Japan) and BattleARTS.
