The July 26, 1986 Edition of WWF Championship Wrestling is a Professional wrestling television show of the World Wrestling Federation, which took place on July 15, 1986 at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center at Poughkeepsie, New York.

This episode featured the aftermath of "The Great Betrayal" a week earlier, in which "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff turned heel by attacking his "friend," WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan, following a tag team match against King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd.

In this installment, Orndorff appeared as a guest on "The Flower Shop," hosted by Adrian Adonis, where he announced he had re-hired Bobby Heenan as his manager. During the segment, Orndorff ranted about Hogan and how he felt used and neglected by someone he thought was his friend but instead (in his view) turned out to be a big shot, before demanding a shot at the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.

Several other developments took place in this episode:

  • Ken Resnick conducted a special interview with WWF President Jack Tunney, where Tunney announced he has suspended André the Giant due to "missing a number of shows"; Tunney also revealed that André had failed to appear at his hearing. Heenan then appeared and repeated a claim he had made several weeks earlier that the Giant Machine was André and was going to prove it. Tunney replied that if André and the Giant Machine were proven to be one and the same, he would be suspended for life. (This was part of an ongoing angle created in part due to André taking a leave of absence to film The Princess Bride and his developing health issues.)
  • Near the end of the broadcast, Freddie Blassie joined commentators Vince McMahon and Bruno Sammartino to announce he had plans to sell the contracts of The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. This foreshadowed Blassie's active career retirement and arrival of Ken Johnson, who had been hired shortly beforehand to portray a new, smooth and jive-talking manager named Slick.
