The first Impact after Slammiversary opened with Rohit Raju, accompanied by Shera, facing off against Chris Bey in a singles match. The Art of Finesse secured the pinfall victory for Bey. After Bey went backstage, Jay White tried talking him into joining the Bullet Club. Bey refused, though he didn't seem completely sure about it.
Backstage, Don Callis had some words about the apparition of Jay White at Slammiversary, and then Mickie James and Deonna Purrazzo made their way to the ring. Mickie tried to apologize for what happened at Slammiversary, but Deonna wasn't having it. Gail Kim then appeared to cool things down, and Mickie invited Deonna to appear in the NWA again, this time with her accepting it.
Next was a mixed tag team match where Brian Myers, Sam Beale & Tenille Dashwood, with Kaleb with a K, faced Jake Something, Matt Cardona & Chelsea Green. In the end, Kaleb distracted Chelsea, but got taken out by a returning Taylor Wilde! The Hot Mess got the win for her team with an Unprettier on Beale.
Eddie Edwards and W. Morrisey had a fight in the parking lot, with Eddie coming out on top as Morrisey retreated after being attacked with a pair of kendo sticks. The losers of the mixed tag team match then got interviewed, and they weren't on the same page, as Tenille said she wasn't going to team with Myers at Homecoming as planned, though Beale promised he'd find a new partner for him.
Jay White walked to the ring, ranting about David Finlay and The Elite, the latter of which then appeared on the ramp. After Kenny Omega walked Don Callis to the back when he started losing his temper, The Good Brothers gave Jay a piece of their minds, demanding a "thank you". When Jay refused, they started beating him up, and were about to hit the Magic Killer, but Chris Bey rushed in to make the save!
Josh Alexander was having an interview, where he talked about wanting to be the face of the company, when Kenny Omega bumped into him, but Don Callis separated the two before anything happened. The Good Brothers then had a backstage segment where they challenged Jay White & Chris Bey to a match.
After this was a tag team bout between Ace Austin & Madman Fulton and FinJuice. Juice countered Fulton's swinging flatliner into a rollup to win the match. There was a post-match brawl, and Rohit Raju & Shera came out to help Austin & Fulton come out on top.
Backstage, Rich Swann & Willie Mack addressed how Violent By Design blamed them for their loss at Slammiversary, just to then get attacked by them. Moose then went to Scott D'Amore's office, demanding a rematch against Chris Sabin, and Sabin arrived as well, so Scott decided to book a rematch at the next show's main event.
The main event of the night had former Knockouts Tag Team Champions Fire 'N Flava use their rematch clause to challenge new champions Decay (Havok & Rosemary, with Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus) for the title. Decay retained by pinning Kiera after a russian legsweep/spear combo.
