Evans made his debut on the February 16, 2024 episode of NXT Level Up facing Brooks Jensen in a losing effort. His next appearance was on the March 1, 2024 episode of NXT Level Up where he faced Javier Bernal in a winning effort.
His first NXT appearance was teased with a video package at NXT Stand & Deliver 2024. His first match on NXT came on the April 9, 2024 episode of NXT, picking up a win against SCRYPTS of Out The Mud. On the April 16, 2024 episode of NXT, he faced the then-NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov in a losing effort.
