The January 9, 1988 Edition of WWF Superstars of Wrestling is a Professional wrestling television show of World Wrestling Federation, which took place on December 8, 1987 at the SunDome in Tampa, Florida.

Craig DeGeorge conducts a podium interview with Ted DiBiase. Bobby Heenan and André the Giant, in which DiBiase announces he has purchased the contract of André the Giant in his continuing effort to become WWF World Heavyweight Champion.
DeGeorge and WWF president Jack Tunney appear on the interview platform, where Tunney suspends the Islanders for their role in dog-napping Matilda the Wonder Dog (the British Bulldogs' mascot) until she is found and returned safely. The segment immediately follows the Islanders' squash match.
