The January 6, 2015 Edition of Main Event is a Professional wrestling television show of the WWE, it was shown live on the WWE Network at the Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, Texas on January 6, 2015.

The first edition of WWE Main Event for 2015 saw Paige score a pinfall over Divas Champion Nikki Bella and Rusev declare his intention to compete in the Royal Rumble Match.

Live on WWE Network, Paige gave Divas Champion Nikki Bella a run for her money by escaping multiple near pinfalls. The English-born Diva never gave up and hung around long enough to blast Nikki with Ram-Paige to get the pinfall. It’s been a rough two nights for the Divas Champion, who also lost to Natalya on Raw.

A gloating U.S. Champion Rusev claimed The Authority did Ryback a favor by firing him so he wouldn’t be humiliated by the big Russian in a match at Royal Rumble. The Super Athlete then officially declared he will compete in the Royal Rumble Match.

Graceful and vicious at the same time, Fandango made quick work of R-Truth, putting him away with a flying leg drop from the top rope. After the victory, the dancing Superstar celebrated with the lovely Rosa Mendes at his side.

With the WWE Universe in Jack Swagger's corner, The All-American was looking for a big win to ring in 2015. But it was Titus O’Neil who did what it took to get the victory. After driving Swagger spine first into the steel ring post, The Gator planted the former World Heavyweight Champion to the canvas the get the pinfall.
