Other happenings[]
- "Piper’s Pit" with WWF President Jack Tunney as guest, presenting André the Giant with a trophy for "being the only undefeated wrestler in WWF history." The trophy is noticeably smaller than one presented to Hulk Hogan a week earlier, although André seems gracious in accepting it ... until Hogan comes out and, in congratulating André as a role model and idol everyone can look up to, inadvertently steals the spotlight. André appears to be upset and walks off the set, to which Hogan chalks up to André's modesty.
- The teasing of two feuds, which never materialized:
- "Update" with "Mean" Gene Okerlund, speculating on a possible King Kong Bundy vs. Kamala feud. Comments from Bundy, bragging about how he was the biggest and strongest, are included. No matches were known to have ever taken place.
- Steve Lombardi vs. Paul Roma, after Lombardi threw Roma out of the ring after the latter's match against "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff as he was getting assistance. Lombardi angrily berated Roma's abilities and said he had no business being in the ring. Except for a few matches at untelevised house shows, a high-profile feud between these two jobbers-to-the-stars never materializes.
