Jack Korpela (July 31, 1982) is an announcer best known for his stint with World Wrestling Entertainment as a play-by-play commentator, an interviewer and as host for various WWE programming.
Early life[]
Korpela was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has stated that he has been a big motorcycle drag racing fan since he was four and attended the IDBA U.S. Nationals. In 2005 he graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in journalism communication. He went onto become a journalist for the Tribune Review and it reported that he has been hired by the WWE.
World Wrestling Entertainment[]
He auditioned for the WWE in May 2006 and was hired. Korpela took over Todd Grisham's job of hosting WWE previews on sky box office channel 755 and has been doing them since WrestleMania 23. He then replaced Grisham doing the WWE bottom Line in September 2007. During its time on air he was an occasional commentator on Heat. And presents WWE specials.
