JR Kratos

JR Kratos (June 20, 1982) is an American professional wrestler.

Early life[]

Kratos was born in 1982 in Pacifica, California. He graduated from Sheldon High School before attending Carrington College California.

Career[]

Kratos debuted on February 26, 2012 in California for Pro Wrestling Bushido (PWB). His first recorded match was held at PWB Lucha Rulez 4, where he competed in a four-way match against Cjay Kurz, Brian Tannen and Joe DeSoul. He has spent almost the entirety of his career wrestling throughout the state of California in promotions including All Pro Wrestling, where in 2012 he was a tag team partner of future WWE NXT star Timothy Thatcher in Vendetta Pro Wrestling, Gold Rush Pro Wrestling, Supreme Pro Wrestling, Big Time Wrestling and several others. In 2015, Kratos made his pay-per-view debut in the short-lived Global Force Wrestling promotion during the second half of the One Night Only: GFW Amped Anthology. There, Kratos competed in the quarterfinal of the GFW Global Championship Tournament where he was eliminated by Shelton Benjamin.

Kratos made his international debut in February 2020 as part of a two-week tour for All Japan Pro Wrestling. He returned to Japan on November 6, 2020, appearing on the 14th episode of New Japan Pro Wrestling's NJPW STRONG program teaming with Rust Taylor in a tag match defeating Jeff Cobb & Rocky Romero.

During his career, Kratos has enjoyed championship success holding several tag team and heavyweight titles while working in Supreme Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Revolution, PREMIER Wrestling, Gold Rush Pro Wrestling and All Pro Wrestling. His latest title reign began while working for United Wrestling Network where on the November 10, 2020 pay-per-view episode of UWN Primetime Live, Kratos teamed with Aron Stevens in defeating Eli Drake & James Storm to become the new NWA World Tag Team Champions. They remained NWA World Tag Team Champions until August 29, 2021 at the NWA pay-per-view event Wrestling At The Chase, where Kratos and Stevens lost the titles to La Rebelion (Bestia 666 & Mecha Wolf). On September 25, Kratos competed in a title match at a Pro Wrestling Revolution live event against Misterioso for the PWR Heavyweight Championship. During the September 14, 2021 episode of NWA Powerrr, Kratos and Aron Stevens competed in the first round of the Number One Contender Tournament. They advanced after eliminating El Rudo & Nick Stanley. Returning on the October 12, 2021 episode of NWA Powerrr, Kratos and Stevens advanced in the semi-final of the tournament; eliminating The End (Odinson & Parrow). The team of Kratos and Stevens made their pay-per-view return at NWA Hard Times 2 in a title match against The OGK (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Kratos also spent time during the months of September, October and November 2021 appearing in episodes of NJPW STRONG. Kratos and Stevens closed the year appearing in a tag match on the December 15 episode of NWA Powerrr, against The Dirty Sexy Boys (Dirty Dango & JTG).
