Izzy Moreno is an American professional wrestler currently working on the Independent circuit.
Background
Izzy Moreno first came to public attention as a super fan to then NXT talent Bayley. She gained attention at NXT TakeOver: Respect in 2015 when Bayley's opponent Sasha Banks removing her hair bow and made her cry. This was referenced in March 2019 when Bayley and Banks returned to NXT as the first WWE Women's Tag Team champions. Mention was made of TakeOver: Respect and Banks looked at Moreno saying "Izzy remembers", and Bayley quickly assuring Moreno that Banks was okay now. These events helped inspire Moreno to be a professional wrestler.
Career
Mission Pro Wrestling
Moreno made her debut for Mission Pro Wrestling (MPW) at Boiling Point 2023 where she faced Jazmin Allure in a losing effort. Her next appearance was at Thriller 2023 where she faced Maya World in another losing effort. Her first victory in MPW was in February 2024 at Sleepless in San Antonio when she defeated Missa Kate. But after the match she was told by MPW owner Thunder Rosa "Not everyone is your BFF" before slapping her down. This led to a San Antonio Stampede match at Mission Pro Mania against JP Harlow with Harlow's Mission Pro Cup on the line. Moreno won the match and then used the cup to challenge Tiffany Nieves for the MPW title at Summer Lovin. A stunt engineered by Rosa where a mystery wrestler with Rosa's face paint caused a DQ, only for the MPW General Manager to order the match to be re-started. Rosa was not in the building as she was wrestling Deonna Purrazzo on AEW Collision that night. Moreno would go on to make Nieves tap out and win the title.
