Independent Wrestling Association Tri-State was an independent American professional wrestling promotion based in New Jersey. Founded by Atticus Rheighns in 2008, It was a sister promotion of IWA Mid-South.

History[]

In March 2008, Atticus Rheighns decided to create his own promotion after seeing how other promotions were run by promoters looking to gain a profit over providing a quality-based wrestling show. With the support of IWA Mid-South owner Ian Rotten, he created IWA: Tri-State.

IWA: Tri-State held their first show, Tradition Reborn, on August 16, 2008 in Sewell, New Jersey. The main event saw Devon Moore defeat Mad Man Pondo in a Hardcore match.

In 2011, the promotion was renamed IWA: Vintage.
