Graduated from Waseda University and became vice-president of the Japan Bodybuilders Association. Tazuhama was a wrestling adviser for the ill-fated 1940 Summer Olympics[1]. He later went on to create Japan's first Professional Wrestling magazine, Monthly Pro Wres. He was the commentator for All Japan Pro Wrestling from its creation in 1972 until around 1985.
