The HWA Tag Team Championship were the tag team titles contested for in the Heartland Wrestling Association. Except for a few months in 2007 when EGO Professional Wrestling owned the titles while HWA was closed.
The titles were established in 1996 when the Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher) became the first champions during the finals on an inaugural tournament. The belts were retired sometimes in 2012 with OI4K (Dave Crist & Jake Crist) as the last champions.
G.P. Code (Andre Heart & Deja Vu) were the longest reigning champions at 466 days, but Cody Hawk was the tag champion for the longest, clocking 911 days as champion with 7 different tag partners.
