George Raymond Wagner (March 24 1915 - December 26 1963) was an American professional wrestler who became an early televised wrestling legend under the ring name Gorgeous George. His flamboyant and arrogant mannerisms established himself as the preeminent heel of his era, and his influence extended outside of the wrestling world and into mainstream entertainment.
