Gold Bond Mafia was a stable based in IWA: Mid-South. Originally founded by CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Paul E. Smooth and Dave Prazak, the stable would go on to include Adam Pearce and Chris Hero. In addition to IWA: Mid-South, the group would occasionally compete for other promotions such as CHIKARA and 3PW.
The name originated from time where the members would prank other wrestlers by putting Gold Bond powder inside unattended clothing. It was an unofficial backstage name that became their group name.
