Frankie Thomas is an American professional wrestler. He is known for his work in the Louisiana state promotions including Elite Championship Wrestling.
Career[]
Elite Championship Wrestling (2013–2017)[]
Thomas debuted in Elite Championship Wrestling in 2013 on the November 3 edition of ECW, losing to Mustang Mike. Returning in 2014, Thomas competed in Number One Contender matches, losing his first attempt for a North American Heavyweight title shot in June before returning on September 7 to defeat Americos for a Elite Tag Team title shot. On that same date, Thomas teamed with Ryan Oshun in a title match won by the defending champions Americos & Mustang Mike. With Ryan Oshun as team Team Roll Tide, they received a rematch held on November 2 won by team Ameri-Boom (Americos and Mustang Mike). On November 30, Team Roll Tide won the Elite Tag Team titles from Amer-Boom. A rematch was held on December 27 in which team Ameri-Boom won the match however not the titles as their victory was won by count-out. Team Roll Tide held the titles untile February 22, 2015, losing to Andy Dalton & Xtian Blake. Team Roll Tide won the tag titles back on March 15 in a two-on-one handicap match defeating Xtian Blake. After losing the titles on July 19, Thomas began a singles run, competing for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship on September 20 at Elite Down For The Count, losing to defending champion Steve Anthony. Thomas ended the year with a victory on November 29, defeating his former teammate Ryan Oshun.
Thomas returned on January 3, 2016 at Lethal Lottery in a Thumbtack Ladder match defeating Ryan Oshun. He formed a new Team Roll Tide with Cousin TJ on February 21, to challenge for the Tag Team titles but lost to defending champions Danny Ramons & Purple Haze. He returned on two occasions during December 2017 where Thomas enjoyed a pair of consecutive singles victories on December 9 and 10.
Bayou Independent Wrestling (2014–2020)[]
Thomas debuted on November 8, 2014 at BIW Respect Is Earned, defeating Ashton Jacobs. He returned on December 6 at Double Or Nothing teaming with Andy Dalton in a four-way tag match for the vacant BIW Southern Tag Team Championship eventually won by Gregory James & Tadlok. He returned in 2015 to wrestle on three occasions during March and May of that year, including his March appearances wrestled in a three-way match and singles match and his May showing wrestled in a singles match. Thomas returned on November 18 at Fighting For Tiger Pride winning a singles match over Purple Haze.
During the course of 2018, Thomas compiled an 4-2 win-loss record in singles matches between February and October. On February 9, 2019 at Calm Before The Storm, Thomas competed for the BIW Deep South Heritage Championship, losing to the defending champion Barret Brown. From March to October 2019, Thomas appeared in singles matches. On March 7 at Why Frankie Why, Thomas won the BIW Deep South Heritage Championship from Barrett Brown. He successfully defended it on October 30 at Let's Have Some Fun, against Cameron Cole.
Pro Wrestling EGO (2014–2020)[]
Thomas debuted in 2014 on November 22 during the 3rd Annual Great Southern 8 Tournament in which he was eliminated by Joey Abel during the opening round. He returned to win his first match on October 3, 2015, defeating Jake Parnell. On February 6, 2016 at A Warriors Call 3, Thomas defeated Braydin Payge. On September 10 at Fight Night 2, Thomas competed in a four-way match for the EGO Pride Championship against Dark Fury, Xtian Blake and Purple Haze, eventually won by the reigning champion Dark Fury. On March 4, 2017 at Our Time Is Now, Thomas and tag partner The Faroh Of Phunk as team MPC won a three-way tag match. On September 11, 2018 at Brewsky's Beatdown, Thomas and Ryan Oshun reunited as Team Roll Tide in a match won by Joey Abel amd Pharaoh Phunk.
On April 22, 2019, Thomas competed in a three-way match for the EGO Pride Championship against JD Jenkins and Chris Black, losing to the defending champion Jenkins. On July 12 at EGO Vs. Battlezone! Thomas lost a title match against Rey Fury for the EGO Styles Championship
All Elite Wrestling (2020)[]
Thomas first appeared in 2020 during the July 28 episode of AEW Dark, losing a match against Lance Archer. He returned at the November 10 episode of AEW Dark teaming with Black Baron in a tag match won by team Top Flight.
