Pogosyan worked as a journalist prior to deciding to train in professional wrestling.
Professional wrestling career[]
Pogosyan first trained in New York, under direction of Johnny Rodz during September 2015. She made her debut in December 2015 for La Boom. She also wrestled matches in Combat Zone Wrestling and Victory Pro Wrestling.
World Wrestling Entertainment[]
It was reported on October 23, 2016, that Pogosyan had been offered a tryout with the WWE. On June 15, 2017, it was confirmed she had reported to the WWE Performance Center to begin training.
