Jorge Luis Alcantar Bolly (April 30, 1984) is a Mexican professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) apart of the SmackDown brand under the ring name Santos Escobar. His father is luchador El Fantasma. He has worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), and Impact Wrestling as El Hijo del Fantasma and under the name King Cuerno in Lucha Underground.

Career

Early career (2000-2008)

Alcantar Bolly began his career in 2000, donning a mask and competing under the name Top Secret. In 2003, he revealed he was the son of El Fantasma, and as a result, wore a new mask and altered his ring name to El Hijo del Fantasma.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (2008-2013)

In 2008, El Hijo del Fantasma began working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), winning the CMLL World Trios Championship alongside Héctor Garza and La Mascara on June 13. On August 5, the trio lost the title following a loss to Atlantis, Negro Casas and Último Guerrero. In a rematch on January 18, 2009, El Hijo del Fantasma, Garza and La Mascara regained the championship. Later that year, on July 21, El Hijo del Fantasma defeated Averno to win the CMLL World Middleweight Championship. El Hijo del Fantasma would only make one defence of the World Middleweight Championship before losing it to Negro Casas on February 14, 2010. In the following months, tensions between Garza and his partners, El Hijo del Fantasma and La Mascara, would rise, with Garza arguing with his partners and walking out during a match.

El Hijo del Fantasma, Hector Garza and La Mascara were booked to defend the World Trios Championship against La Ola Amarilla (Hiroshi Tanahashi, Okumura and Taichi) on May 7, however, Garza protested that his partners had accepted the match without consulting him. At the title defence, Garza attacked his partners, allowing La Ola Amarilla to win the championship. Continuing to wrestle for CMLL, El Hijo del Fantasma unsuccessfully challenged Mephisto for the NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship on January 14, 2011. In June, El Hijo del Fantasma advanced to the final of a tournament for the vacant NWA World Historic Light Heavyweight Championship, but was defeated by Rey Bucanero. He challenged for the NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship on October 28, 2012, but was defeated by Dragón Rojo, Jr. El Hijo del Fantasma would remain with CMLL until October 2013.

Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (2013-2019)

On October 18, 2013, El Hijo del Fantasma jumped ship to Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, debuting as the newest member of El Consejo. On his debut, he advanced to the final of the 2013 Copa Antonio Peña, but failed to win the tournament. On December 8, El Hijo del Fantasma and fellow El Consejo stablemates El Texano Jr. and Silver Cain failed to win the AAA World Trios Championship from Los Psycho Circus (Monster Clown, Murder Clown and Psycho Clown). That same night, El Hijo del Fantasma was a part of the formation of a second incarnation of La Sociedad. El Hijo del Fantasma partnered with Psicosis on March 16, 2014, in an losing effort in a Four Way Tag Team Match for the AAA World Tag Team Championship. El Consejo challenged Los Psycho Circus for the World Trios Championship again on June 4 but were unsuccessful. At Triplemanía XXII, El Hijo del Fantasma won a Ten Man Elimination Match to unify the AAA Cruiserweight Championship and the AAA Fusión Championship.

On September 20, 2015, El Hijo del Fantasma became the leader of La Sociedad after former leader Konnan had stepped down. However, in 2016, La Sociedad would disband. El Hijo del Fantasma held the World Cruiserweight Championship until March 19, 2017, where he was defeated in a Three Way Match that also saw the AAA Latin American Championship and the AAA Mega Championship on the line. On October 1, El Hijo del Fantasma won the 2017 Copa Antonio Peña, along with the Latin American Championship. Soon after, El Hijo del Fantasma began a heated feud with El Texano Jr. On January 26, 2018, El Texano Jr. challenged El Hijo del Fantasma for the Latin American Championship in a Steel Cage match, which El Hijo del Fantasma won by disqualification. As a result, the pair faced off in a Luchas de Apuestas Mask vs. Hair Match on March 4. El Hijo del Fantasma would win the match and consequentially, El Texano Jr. would have his hair shaved off.

Following El Hijo del Fantasma's victory over El Texano Jr., AAA announced that he would compete against LA Park, Pentagon Jr. and Psycho Clown in a Poker de Aces Match, where every competitors mask would be on the line. At TripleManía XXVI, El Hijo del Fantasma was defeated in the Poker de Aces Match, and as a result, had to remove his mask and reveal his real name. On December 2, Drago defeated El Hijo del Fantasma to win his Latin American Championship. El Hijo del Fantasma would go on to announce his departure from AAA on March 20, 2019.

Lucha Underground (2014-2019)

In September 2014, El Hijo del Fantasma began making appearances for Lucha Underground under the name King Cuerno. Cuerno began a feud with Drago, defeating him in a Last Luchador Standing Match on the January 21, 2015 episode of Lucha Underground. On the February 4 episode of Lucha Underground, King Cuerno began a rivalry with Johnny Mundo after attacking him. Their feud would conclude on the March 11 episode of Lucha Underground after Mundo defeated Cuerno in a Steel Cage Match. On the January 27, 2016 episode of Lucha Underground, King Cuerno defeated Fénix to win the Gift Of The Gods Championship. Fénix won back the championship from Cuerno in a Ladder Match on the March 2 episode of Lucha Underground.

Following an absence from Lucha Underground, King Cuerno returned on the October 18, 2017 episode of Lucha Underground, stealing the Gauntlet Of The Gods from its winner, Mil Muertes. This sparked a feud between Cuerno and Muertes, however, the feud ended indecisively, as the last time Cuerno would face Muertes was in a Four Way Match won by Pentagon Dark on the September 26, 2018 episode of Lucha Underground. On March 26, 2019, Cuerno was released from Lucha Underground.

Impact Wrestling (2017-2018)

El Hijo del Fantasma made his first appearance for Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary XV, partnering with Drago to represent AAA in a Four Way Tag Team Match for the Impact World Tag Team Championship and GFW World Tag Team Championship. Making further appearances on Impact television, El Hijo del Fantasma unsuccessfully challenged Impact Grand Champion Ethan Carter III on the September 14, 2017 episode of iMPACT!. At Bound for Glory XIII, El Hijo del Fantasma partnered with El Texano Jr. and Pagano as Team AAA, but were defeated by Team Impact (Eddie Edwards, Ethan Carter III and James Storm). On the iMPACT! following Bound for Glory, Edwards defeated El Hijo del Fantasma to retain the GHC Heavyweight Championship. El Hijo del Fantasma challenged for the Impact X Division Championship on the February 15, 2018 episode of iMPACT!, but failed to win the title from Taiji Ishimori. El Hijo del Fantasma made his final appearance for Impact on the June 21 episode of iMPACT!, partnering with Pentagon Jr. to defeat oVe (Dave Crist and Jake Crist.

NXT (2019-2022)

On August 14, 2019, Alcantar Bolly signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and began training at the WWE Performance Center. However, during training, he would suffer a knee injury that would put him out of training for a number of months. At a house show on February 15, 2020, he debuted under his real name, Jorge Bolly, teaming with Raul Mendoza in a victory over Pretty Deadly (Lewis Howley and Sam Stoker). On April 12, WWE announced that, due to NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin being unable to travel as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a tournament would be held to crown an interim champion. Alcantar Bolly, returning to his El Hijo del Fantasma name, was announced as one of the tournament participants.

Competing in Block B, El Hijo del Fantasma advanced to the final, with wins over Akira Tozawa and Jack Gallagher and a loss to Isaiah Scott. In the final on the June 3 episode of NXT, El Hijo del Fantasma defeated Drake Maverick to become the interim champion. The following week, Drake Maverick congratulated El Hijo del Fantasma on his victory, however, two masked men would surround the ring, with El Hijo del Fantasma helping them attack Maverick. The masked men revealed themselves as Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza. El Hijo del Fantasma would then unmask himself, revealing his new ring name, Santos Escobar. Escobar, Wilde and Mendoza would then form a stable dubbed Legado Del Fantasma.

Escobar would begin a feud with Isaiah Scott soon after, defeating him to retain the Cruiserweight Championship on the August 26 episode of NXT. The following week, Scott would team up with Breezango (Fandango and Tyler Breeze) to defeat Legado Del Fantasma in a Street Fight. Escobar would end his feud with Scott after another victory over him at TakeOver 31. At New Year's Evil, Escobar defeated Gran Metalik to retain the Cruiserweight Championship before retaining the title against Curt Stallion on the February 3, 2021 episode of NXT. Escobar would then have a short feud with Karrion Kross, losing to Kross in a No Disqualification Match on the February 24 episode of NXT.

On the March 17 episode of NXT, NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin returned, confronting Escobar, the interim champion. At TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Escobar defeated Devlin in a Ladder Match to become the undisputed champion. On the April 13 episode of NXT, Escobar held an open challenge, which was accepted by Kushida. Kushida would defeat Escobar that night, winning the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. A two out of three falls rematch between Escobar and Kushida took place on the May 11 episode of NXT, however, Escobar failed to regain the title. In the following weeks, Legado Del Fantasma began a rivalry with NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed and NXT Tag Team Champions (MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee). This culminated in a Six Man Tag Team Winner Takes All Match at TakeOver: In Your House, which Legado lost.

On the August 24 episode of NXT, Legado Del Fantasma defeated Hit Row (Ashante Adonis, Isaiah Scott and Top Dolla) after Legado's newest member, a debuting Elektra Lopez, distracted Scott. Escobar would challenge Scott for the NXT North American Championship on the October 12 episode of NXT, but was unsuccessful. Following the new year, Escobar began a feud with NXT Champion Bron Breakker but failed to win the title from him at Vengeance Day. On the March 15, 2022 episode of NXT, Escobar defeated Cameron Grimes to qualify for a North American Championship Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver. However, at Stand & Deliver, Escobar failed to win the match.

Escobar, along with the rest of Ledago Del Fantasma, would begin a feud with Tony D'Angelo and his family, Channing Lorenzo and Troy Donovan. With multiple meetings and altercations taking place between the two groups, Escobar would defeat D'Angelo on the May 17 episode of NXT. However, at In Your House, D'Angelo, Lorenzo and Donovan defeated Legado Del Fantasma, and as a result, Legado had to join D'Angelo's family. The two groups combined would be detrimental, as Escobar prevented D'Angelo from winning the North American Championship on the June 21 episode of NXT. At The Great American Bash, D'Angelo revealed that Escobar had been put in hospital. Escobar returned on the August 2 episode of NXT, preventing D'Angelo and Stacks from winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. At Heat Wave, D'Angelo defeated Escobar in a Street Fight, and as a result, Escobar was barred from NXT.

SmackDown (2022-present)

On the October 7, 2022 episode of SmackDown, Legado Del Fantasma, joined by Zelina Vega rather than Elektra Lopez, made their main roster debut, attacking Hit Row. On the October 28 episode of SmackDown, Legado Del Fantasma were defeated by Hit Row and Shinsuke Nakamura in a Six Man Tag Team Match. The following month, Escobar took part in the SmackDown World Cup, defeating Nakamura in the first round.
