Dino Bravo & Dominic DeNucci were a tag team in the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) and are one-time WWWF Tag Team Champions.
History[]
Bravo & DeNucci began teaming in the WWWF in 1978, quickly winning the WWWF Tag Team Championship from Mr. Fuji & Professor Tanaka on March 14, 1978, before defeating Joe Turco & Johnny Rodz on the March 25, 1978 episode of WWWF All-Star Wrestling. Bravo & DeNucci defended the WWWF Tag Team Championship against various different teams, including Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito and The Yukon Lumberjacks (Yukon Eric & Yukon Pierre). Bravo & DeNucci were eventually defeated by The Yukon Lumberjacks on June 26, 1978, ending their 104 day reign.
Dino Bravo & Dominic DeNucci had a number of rematches with The Yukon Lumberjacks, but were unsuccessful in winning back the WWF Tag Team Championship. On November 18, 1978, Bravo & DeNucci teamed with Andre The Giant to defeat The Yukon Lumberjacks and their partner Spiros Arion. Bravo & DeNucci wrestled their last recorded match on December 18, 1978, teaming with Dusty Rhodes in a losing effort to Ivan Koloff, Victor Rivera & Yukon Pierre, before splitting up.
