Dennis "Denny" Brown is an American retired professional wrestler.
Career[]
Brown debuted in 1980 for Championship Wrestling from Florida as Dennis Brown. After serving his apprenticeship wresting in preliminary/lower mid card matches, Denny Brown was noticed by Dusty Rhodes and hired by Jim Crockett Promotions in 1984.
Jim Crockett Promotions[]
Brown won the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade 1984, November 1984. He held the title three times over the following three years, feuding with Mike Davis, Nelson Royal, Gary Royal, Steve Regal and Lazer Tron.
Post JCP[]
Later in his career, Brown returned to Florida, wrestling for Steve Keirn and Mike Graham's Florida Championship Wrestling and later Eddie Mansfield's International Wrestling Federation becoming the Television champion and along with Clifford Anderson feuded with the Dynamite Express. Denny made a few sporadic television appearances for World Championship Wrestling, before becoming a WCW road agent in 1997.
