He played wing in Australia's National Rugby League (NRL) for the Brisbane Broncos, Gold Coast Titans, Canberra Raiders and St. George Illawarra Dragons, as well as competed in the English Super League.

It was reported 17 October, 2018, that WWE signed a total of seven athletes to train at the WWE Performance Center. Among them, Vidot was signed. A 21 July 2018 sports article also reported a gimmick development suggesting Vidot would appear under the ring name "The Samoan Ghost". Social media postings featured Vidot posing in pictures with a member of The Usos tag team, as well as other pictures with captions referring to Samoan culture.
Vidot made his in-ring debut in during the 29 November house show. There, he participated in a 12-man battle royal won by Keith Lee. The following year in 2019, Vidot wrestled his first singles match at the 19 January house show, losing to Saurav Gurjar. The next month during the 8 February house show, Vidot wrestled his second singles match, losing against Eric Bugenhagen. He returned the following month for the 2 March house show, where he lost to Mansoor Al-Shehail. The following week, he competed in a match during the 8 March house show, losing to Stacey Ervin Jr.. He returned to the ring later in the month for a 30 March house show where he lost to Kassius Ohno. The following month, Vidot returned for a match during the 19 April house show, losing to fellow Australian wrestler Jermaine Haley. Two months later, Vidot wrestled at the 27 June house show, losing to Nick Comoroto.
