Daniel Ryan Cormier (March 20, 1979) is an American former professional mixed martial artist and amateur wrestler. Cormier competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he won the UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Championships. He was the second fighter in UFC history to hold championships in two different weight classes simultaneously and the first fighter to have title defences in two divisions. Cormier also has a number of achievements in amateur and folkstyle wrestling.
On October 1, 2022, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced that Cormier would be the special guest referee for the Fight Pit Match between Matt Riddle and Seth "Freakin" Rollins at Extreme Rules.
