Connor Deutsch (October 6, 1993) is an American professional wrestler known by the ring name Clark Connors. He currently works in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Career[]
Early career (2017–2018)[]
Connors debuted as early as April 15, 2017 in Prestige Wrestling in a dark match won by Nick Dawson. He went on to wrestle across the American Pacific northwest and in British Columbia in promotions including Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW), DEFY Wrestling and West Coast Wrestling Connection (WCWC).
Ring Of Honor (2019)[]
Connors made his televised debut on January 24 during the openining night of the 2019 Road To G1 Supercard television event where he lost a match to Jeff Cobb. He returned for the second and third nights of the event in tag matches, teamng both nights with Alex Coughlin and Karl Fredericks against the Shinobi Shadow Squad and team Villain Enterprises respectively. He made his regular television debut on the April 6 episode of ROH, once more teaming with Alex Coughlin and Karl Fredericks in a six-man tag match won by Dalton Castle & The Boys.
New Japan Pro Wrestling (2019–present)[]
Due to Ring Of Honor's business relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Connors made his debut on May 8 during the opening night of the 2019 War Of The Worlds television event teaming with Karl Fredericks in a tag match won by The Kingdom. He spent two of the three succeeding nights of the event in tag matches teaming with Alex Coughlin and Karl Fredericks. On one of those nights, Connors wrestled in a three-way match against Dalton Castle and Cheeseburger.
Connors made his televised return on January 6, 2020 at NJPW New Year Dash, where he teamed with Alex Coughlin and Karl Fredericks in a six-man tag match defeating Toa Henare, Yota Tsuji & Yuya Uemura. Beginning on January 24, Connors joined the NJPW The New Beginning In USA tour, competing three of the four nights in tag matches and wrestling only one match one-on-one against Jeff Cobb. After wrestling businesses worldwide began creating more televised contents due to live event restrictions imposed as a result to the 2020 Coronavirus outbreak, Connors joined the series premiere of NJPW Lion's Break Collision, appearing on its inaugural episode aired on July 3. There he wrestled his tag partner Alex Coughlin to a time-limit draw. He later returned for the 3rd and 4th episodes aired during the month of July in tag matches. On August 14, Connors appeared on Episode 2 of NJPW STRONG teaming with Jordan Clearwater in a tag match won by Barrett Brown & Logan Riegel. On September 25, Connors joined the Lion's Break Crown Tournament where he advanced in the first round after eliminating Jordan Clearwater. On October 9, Connors defeated Danny Limelight to win the Lion's Break Crown. Since appearing on the NJPW STRONG television program, Connors mainly appears in tag matches, with a few singles encounters against opponents as Fred Rosser and Logan Riegel.
