Cine El Rey Theater is a historical entertainment venue in McAllen, Texas. It is regarded as being "the best venue in south Texas". It was built by Interstate in 1948, under the design of W.E. Crawford. The Cine El Rey served McAllen's Hispanic community for 40 years before closing down in 1988. Many of Mexico's greatest performers made personal appearances on its stage.

The Cine El Rey was later restored in 2001, now serving the newly revitalized Downtown Improvement District.
