Charro Azteca was a Mexican born wrestler who began his career in Mexico wrestling with the likes of Gory Guerrero, Hombre Montana, Blue Demon, Gorilla Macias. This is where he honed his skills as a wrestler. He then wrestled in the U.S. with Don Arnold, Freddie Blassie, Joe Louis, Primo Carnera, and many other famous golden area wrestlers. Charro wrestled worldwide many times. He was a headliner for many years and teamed up with Argentina Rocca who was a personal friend of his. He also wrestled in pre-Castro Cuba. He continued to wrestle into the early 1960s and finally retired from the ring and lived in San Francisco, a city he loved. He had many friends and enjoyed working with people there. He moved to Texas in the late 1980s and passed away in San Antonio at the age of 86.
