Bronson Rechsteiner (October 24, 1997) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on the Raw brand under the ring name Bron Breakker. A second-generation professional wrestler, he is the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner who performed together as The Steiner Brothers. Breakker is a two-time NXT Champion.

Early life and Football career[]

Rechsteiner was born on October 24, 1997 in Woodstock, Georgia. He is one of three sons born to professional wrestler Rick Steiner. His two brothers are named Hudson and Maveric. His uncle Scott was an amateur wrestler along with his father with whom became professional wrestlers largely remembered for tag team wrestling in famous promotions including World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Following his father and uncle, Rechsteiner is a second-generation amateur wrestler and second-generation professional wrestler.

Rechsteiner played as a running back in football for Kennesaw State University while studying Criminal Justice. After college, he joined the National Football League as a fullback for the Baltimore Ravens during April 2020 before being released four months later.

NXT (2021-2024)[]

Rechsteiner was signed to WWE in February of 2021. His ring name was revealed on September 11 as Bron Breakker. Three days later, Breakker made his televised debut on the September 14 episode of NXT defeating LA Knight. During the September 21 episode of NXT, Breakker wrestled his first tag match, teaming with Tommaso Ciampa in defeating Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland. With Tommaso Ciampa, Breakker won his second tag match during the October 19 episode of NXT, defeating the Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake). He won his second singles victory during the November 2 episode of NXT, defeating Andre Chase in a squash match. During November, WWE resumed holding live events in which Breakker competed in a small succession of triple threat matches for the NXT Championship held by his former tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa, involving third opponent Sami Zayn. On December 5 at WarGames, Breakker teamed with Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, and Tony D'Angelo (as "Team 2.0") to defeat Ciampa, Knight, Johnny Gargano, and Pete Dunne ("Team Black & Gold") in a WarGames match, with Breakker pinning Ciampa.

Less than a year after his televised debut, Breakker won his first title on January 4, 2022 at NXT: New Year's Evil. On this occassion, Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa to become the new NXT Champion. Breakker made his first defence at Vengeance Day, defeating Santos Escobar. On the March 1 episode of NXT, Breakker teamed up with Ciampa to defeat The Dirty Dawgz (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode). The two teams faced off again in Breakker's main roster debut on the March 7 episode of Raw, which saw Breakker and Ciampa win again. The following day at Roadblock, Ziggler defeated Breakker and Ciampa in a Triple Threat Match, ending Breakker's reign as NXT Champion. At Stand & Deliver, Breakker attempted to regain the NXT Championship from Ziggler, but was unsuccessful. However, two days later on Raw, Breakker defeated Ziggler to win the NXT Championship for a second time. The following day on NXT, Breakker defeated Gunther to retain his newly won title. Subsequently, Breakker began feuding with Joe Gacy after Gacy abducted Breakker's father, Rick Steiner. As a result, Gacy challenged Breakker at Spring Breakin', with Breakker coming out on top. Breakker and Gacy would continue their feud, which culminated in a rematch at In Your House, with the stipulation that the NXT Championship could change hands via disqualification. At In Your House, Breakker avoided disqualification and defeated Gacy.

After defeating Duke Hudson to retain the NXT Championship on the June 14 episode of NXT, Breakker would go on to retain against Cameron Grimes at The Great American Bash. After the match, Breakker was attacked by a debuting JD McDonagh. At Heat Wave, Breakker would make a successful defence against McDonagh. Following his victory, Breakker was confronted by NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate. At Worlds Collide, as a result of NXT UK coming to an end, Breakker defeated Bate to unify the NXT and NXT UK championships. Following Ilja Dragunov's NXT debut, Breakker would defeat Dragunov and McDonagh in a Triple Threat Match at Halloween Havoc to retain the NXT Championship.

Following Apollo Crews' match on the November 15 episode of NXT, Breakker confronted Crews. This set up a match between Breakker and Crews for the NXT Championship at NXT Deadline 2022 where Breakker defeated Crews to retain the title. After the match, he was attacked by Men's Iron Survivor Challenge survivor Grayson Waller, setting up a match between Breakker and Waller for the title on January 10, 2023 at NXT New Year's Evil 2023. At the event, Breakker would win by count out after the ropes broke on Waller. The two faced off in a Steel Cage rematch at Vengeance Day on February 4, where Breakker emerged victorious. After, Breakker was confronted by Carmelo Hayes. This led to a match at Stand & Deliver on April 1, where Hayes defeated Breakker, ending his 362 day reign.
