Breaking Point was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment, which took place on September 13, 2009 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was the first time the WWE staged this event. During this event all major matches were held under Submission rules.
In this event maybe a re happening of the 1997 Montreal Screwjob, where it appeared CM Punk made The Undertaker submit, but infact The Undertaker never tapped out, but the refree called for the bell. Before this, The Undertaker won the title with Hells Gate. but Theodore Long deamed it to be a banded hold, and the match will continue.

1. The Big Show & Chris Jericho defeated Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) & Mark Henry by pinfall to retain The Unified WWE Tag Team Championship.
2. Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz by pinfall to retain The WWE United States Championship.
3. The Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr.) defeated D-Generation X (Triple H & Shawn Michaels) by submission.
4. Kane defeated The Great Khali by pinfall in a Singapore Cane match.
5. Christian defeated William Regal by pinfall to retain the ECW Championship. (Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov were both banded from ringside by order of Theodore Long.
6. John Cena defeated Randy Orton in a "I Quit" match to win the WWE Championship.
7. CM Punk defeated The Undertaker by Submission to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
Aftermath
Following Breaking Point on Smackdown, The Undertaker hijacked Theodore Long when Long got into a limousine during the show.
Chris Jericho & The Big Show defended MVP & Mark Henry to retain their Titles
D-Generation X where defeated by Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase
John Cena who defeated Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship
