Jeremiah "Jay" Ross is a former American professional wrestler. He is best known for his persona "Blitzkreig" and for his tenure with World Championship Wrestling (WCW).
Professional Wrestling Career[]
Jeremiah Ross made his Professional Wrestling debut on November 4, 1994 for the Professioanl Wrestling Promotion "All Pro Wreslting" under the ring name "The Fabulous Blitzkreig", where he was a participant in a tag team bout with "Hellblazer" in a losing effort to Mr. Excitement and Suicide kid. After the loss, Ross tweaked the name so it was simply "Blitzkreig and began a fued with "Hellblazer", the feud ended at All Pro Wrestlings event "Mini Invasion". In the bout, he and Super Dragon defeated Hellblazer and American Wild Child in a tag team match on August 15, 1997. In 1998, he signed a contract with World Championship Wrestling in a dark match on the July 16th 1998 episode of "Thunder". During that dark match, he defeated his old rival American Wild Child. Some time after that, he made his televised debut against Rey Mysterio on the February 8th edition of WCW "Nitro" where he was defeated. He competed in the WCW Cruiserweight Division against the likes of Juventud Guerrera, Dean Malenko, Billy Kidman, and Psicosis. Later, Blitzkreig competed in his last match against Evan Karagias in order to begin working as a Computer Technician for WCW. On October 14, 1999 he retired from the ring.
Passing the Torch[]
On December 12, 2004 at a Pro Wrestling WAR event in California, Ross cemented his retirement when he passed on the Blitzkreig gimmick to Jack Evans who competed for quite some time as "Blitzkreig II". Jack Evans was actually inspired by Blitzkreig to become a professional wrestler.
