The April 4, 2014 Edition of Smackdown is a Professional wrestling television show of the WWE's Smackdown brand, which took place on March 31, 2014 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
Summary[]
On the final in-ring stop before WrestleMania 30, The Hulkster returned to the best show on Friday night, ready to make history all over again.
In a battle between two determined participants in the first-ever Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at The Show of Shows, Dolph Ziggler continued his recent tear through the ranks of WWE and hit Titus O’Neil with the Zig Zag for a victory.
All through the night, SmackDown sampled a taste of the splendor of WrestleMania Axxess, the interactive tradition that continues to give the WWE Universe a hands-on look inside the world of WWE.
This Sunday at The Showcase of the Immortals, three top-notch tandems will challenge WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos in a WrestleMania Pre-Show Fatal 4-Way Match. In preparation for that free-for-all showdown, The Real Americans went head-to head with Los Matadores on SmackDown.
In the height of the action, Zeb Colter stunned all by slapping Cesaro. While the bold manager's actions, at first, looked to further damage the fragile union between The Real Americans, it instead resulted in his powerful Superstar unleashing a frantic attack on the opposition. Then, when order broke down in the final moments of the contest, Cesaro caught one of his masked foes off the ropes and finished him with a Cesaro Swing/Neutralizer combination.
For the first time in over 10 years, Hulk Hogan stepped into a SmackDown ring, just two days before he will look to add to his incredible legacy on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
