Andrew "Andy" Williams (December 12, 1977) is an American musician and professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name The Butcher, as one-half of the tag team known as The Butcher And The Blade with Pepper Parks as The Blade.
Career[]
Debut & early career[]
Around the age of 38, Williams made his debut as early as 2016. He wrestled in numerous promotions including Smash Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), New York Wrestling Connection (NYWC), Outlaw Wrestling and Empire State Wrestling (ESW) among others.
All Elite Wrestling (2019–present)[]
in 2019, no longer competing as Andy Williams he made his debut in All Elite Wrestling on the December 11 episode of AEW Dynamite. Having already appeared together across several promotions, this episode featured the debut of The Butcher And The Blade, with Williams as The Butcher and Braxton Sutter as The Blade. Quickly they established themselves as a formidable heel tag team, defeating fan favorite Cody and his tag partner QT Marshall. The AEW female wrestler Allie aligned herself with The Butcher And The Blade and became known as The Bunny, and began leading the team to their matches as well as assisting them via interfering with their opponents during matches. The following week on the December 18 episode of Dynamite, The Butcher And The Blade lost to Cody and his newfound tag partner Darby Allin.
