The March 5, 2021 Edition of 205 Live was a Professional wrestling television show of the WWE which took place at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.

Summary[]

Call it a partnership of convenience. Call it uniting against common enemies. But whatever you do, call the combination of August Grey and Jake Atlas effective.

Grey and Atlas have watched each other’s backs for the last few weeks to nullify the numbers advantage that Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari typically use in their favor, and they paired up for the first time in an actual match against their recent tormentors.

The Premier Athlete and Daivari Dinero went to their bag of tricks early and often, as Nese feigned a knee injury, opening the door for Daivari to slug Atlas from the ring action and put his partner back in control.

After coming agonizingly close to tagging out of the match on several occasions, Atlas finally made a lunging tag to The Life of the Party, who darted into the ring and blitzed Nese with a headscissors takedown, an inverted atomic drop and a vicious clothesline.

And once Atlas took out Daivari with a dive through the ropes, Grey clinched the win by blasting Nese with a superkick and So Much Prettier.

While being interviewed by Josiah Williams earlier in the day, Mansoor and Curt Stallion celebrated their recent victory as partners and mulled some potential names for their tag team, including “Curt-soor and Man-stallion.” The tone quickly shifted, however, when Mansoor talked about his 40-0 record, only to immediately be reminded by Stallion that none of those victories have come against him, and the two agreed to meet one on one later that evening.

The recent allies shared a handshake at the toll of the opening bell, but friendship was thrown out the window for the edge-of-your-seat thriller that followed.

The undefeated Superstar looked to be in dire straits when Stallion planted him with a neckbreaker and followed up with a running forearm and a savage knee to the face. Seconds later, Stallion came within an eyelash of a win by DDTing Mansoor into the bottom turnbuckle.

Somehow, the staggered Mansoor took the full brunt of a Spanish fly and got his foot on the bottom rope to avoid defeat.

And after dodging Stallion’s attempt at a running headbutt, Mansoor jumped from the apron back into the ring and leveled his opponent with a unique neckbreaker to seal the win.
