The March 19, 2021 Edition of 205 Live was a Professional wrestling television show of the WWE which took place at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.
Summary[]
In matchup between arguably the two best trash talkers on 205 Live, Ashante “Thee” Adonis snatched victory from the jaws of defeat to stun Ariya Daivari.
The Persian Lion, who was defeated by August Grey in controversial fashion last week and entered this match in an even worse mood than usual, took control when he grabbed a fist full of his opponent’s hair and yanked him to the met before dropkicking his knee.
Second later, Daivari drilled Adonis with the Hammerlock Lariat, only to break his own pinfall attempt. Daivari followed up with a picture-perfect frog splash from the top rope and nonchalantly covered his foe, but Adonis rolled him up in a crucifix pinning predicament for the 1-2-3!
It was a rough night for the self-proclaimed 205 Live OGs, as Tony Nese joined his comrade Ariya Daivari in the loser’s circle after coming up short against Jake Atlas.
Nese looked to have the upper hand when he brutalized Atlas around the ringside area and planted him with a belly-to-back suplex when they returned to the squared circle, but Atlas dug deep to drop The Premier Athlete with a brainbuster.
Nese landed a springboard moonsault for a two-count and slapped Atlas in the face, which turned out to be a costly mistake, as an incensed Atlas struck back with a flurry of right hands. Moments later, he spiked his foe into the canvas with his Cartwheel DDT to earn the victory.
