The 2022 NXT UK Championship Tournament was a tournament that began on August 11, 2022 episode of NXT UK to crown a new NXT UK Champion after Ilja Dragunov vacated the championship on August 4 episode of NXT UK due to injury.
History[]
Following a defence against Wolfgang on the July 28 episode of NXT UK, NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov announced on the August 4 episode of NXT UK that he was injured and would relinquish the title. It was announced after that an eight man tournament would begin the following week in order to crown a new champion. The tournament concluded after Tyler Bate defeated Trent Seven on the September 1 episode of NXT UK, the final episode of NXT UK.
