After weeks of pushing Dakota Kai around, Shayna Bazsler put her NXT Women's Championship on the line against the New Zealander. Psychological tactics were the order of the day early, but Kai soon overcame her fears and started to mount an offensive output. Unfortunately for Kai, Bazsler was just too much to handle on this night, and the Kirifuda Clutch was the upstart's fate.
