It is the sequel to 12 Rounds: Reloaded and is the third installment in the 12 Rounds series and the second of six films, titled the 'Action Six-Pack' series, to be co-produced by WWE Studios and Lionsgate, who would also distribute the film. Plot

Detective John Shaw returns to active duty after taking time off following the death of George Freemont, his partner, and soon uncovers evidence that links other officers to the death of Freemont. After being betrayed and soon framed for the murder, Shaw gets trapped in his own precinct, and with only twelve rounds in the clip of his gun, must do whatever it takes to find those who framed him and take down who ever is in his way to clear his name.
