Esta foi a primeira WrestleMania na Ford Field, mas foi a segunda a decorrer na área metropolitana de Detroit (a primeira foi a WrestleMania III, onde um recorde de 93.173 fãs ocuparam o Pontiac Silverdome em 1987).
