Robert Lee Backlund (Princeton, 14 de agosto de 1949) é um ex-lutador de wrestling profissional norte-americano, mais conhecido pelo nome de ringue Bob Backlund. Durante sua carreira Bob teve feud notáveis com Larry Zbyszko, Jimmy Snuka, Greg Valentine, Pat Patterson, Bob Orton, Iron Sheik, Don Muraco e Bret Hart[3]. Na World Wide Wrestling Federation / World Wrestling Federation foi duas vezes WWWF/WWF Champion e uma vez WWF Tag Team Champion fazendo dupla com Pedro Morales[3].
